Insurance Affiliates

Here are the six banners for use with our Insurance Affiliate Program. Before we detail how to link using these banners, take a minute to notice a couple of things.

First note the name and size (in kb, or kilobytes) of each banner. The smaller the file size, the faster it will load into your visitors browsers. These files should all load in less than 2.5 seconds over a 28.8 bps connection.

Also please note that file number 6 has an extension of ".jpg" rather than ".gif". Sorry about that, but it was necessary to keep the file size under 10 KB.

OK, now let's talk about how you can link using some or all of these banners. The most important element in terms of generating commission checks for yourself is where you place the banners or other text links to our Insurance Web Site. Many people put a banner right at the top of their main page to maximize their commissions. Another banner can be placed on a major subpage or on your favorite links page.

Another very productive technique is to create separate pages dealing with life insurance, and then embed links to the Insurance Web Site right in the text for visitors to click on. Feel free to browse our material at http://www.budgetlife.com and ADAPT (not copy... our material is copyrighted) it for use at your site.

Once you have decided how and where to link to our Insurance Web Site, just "right click" the banners from this page that you have decided to use, and save them to your hard drive. Then modify your Web pages to incorporate the links and banners and load them back to your server.

If you are not familiar with HTML, just cut and paste the following text into your Web page, making sure to replace XXXX with your reference number that you were assigned when you signed up as an affiliate:

The above HTML would load the first banner ("bud_1.gif"), as well as the link to http://www.budgetlife.com/cgi-bin/get-url.cgi?affilid=XXXX, into your Web page at the location where you pasted it. To use another banner, just replace the name ("bud_1.gif") with the name of the banner of choice (e.g. "bud_2.gif" for banner #2).
